Family Photo

I've been just a little bit obsessed with Pinterest lately, and a lot of the ideas we've tried from there have actually worked out really well!  I'm hoping to blog about some of them soon (including "mind jars" and a menu board).  Some not so much ~ fairy jars were a bust, tank-top-from-tshirt was awful, felted eggs were cute but NOT like the picture showed.  Most of the recipes have been good, and the girls have loved all the free printable coloring pages.  Overall I think pinning has been a productive use of my time :) I've recently seen a few ideas for family photos on there, and it was sunny and nice-ish out today, so after being super productive and cleaning our cars inside and out, I gathered up the troops to give it a shot (after rapid-charging the camera battery...forgot to turn it off after the last import, oops!).  I don't think we hit quite what I was going for, but it does capture each child's personality quite well, I think.  Next time, though, babe, I'm pretty sure you aren't supposed to see the remote ;)

Peace out.

March Madness

Can anyone believe that April is already here?  March flew by faster than I could imagine, and now we are more than 1/4 of the way through 2012, crazy!  We are all recovering from some sort of awful flu that struck our house last week, leaving Milo and I on antibiotics and Charlotte an emotional wreck.  I would say it brought sassy to Maya, but I'm pretty sure that's just her being 4&1/2 :)  Michael didn't catch it (the flu, not the sassy ;)), and you better believe I'm knocking on wood right now!

This month Charlotte started gymnastics and Maya started soccer.  I would say that I can't believe I'm a "soccer mom" but if we're being honest, I think I've wanted to be a soccer mom for about as long as I can remember.  At 28 years old I have the best husband I could imagine, 3 of what I believe to be the world's most amazing children, and I get to spend every day taking care of my family (and to a lesser extent my home ;)).  I'm pretty well exactly where I want to be, and am feeling extremely blessed.

Pictures :)

the train was a little loud for Isaac!

Maya and Kendall playing some sort of princess or fairy game, I'm sure :)

Baths and Parks

Is bathing a baby in the sink ever not cute?  The idea that Milo will one day outgrow sink baths almost makes me want to have another baby (calm down, grandmas...*if* this ever happens it will be far in the future! :D).

Michael and I took the kiddos to the park this past Saturday.  We're all gonna be crying when we get a big snowstorm in April, but I'mma soak up the sun and warm weather while we have it!

It appears that I am going to spend my summer removing mulch (and lint, dirt, paper, grass, leaves...) from Milo's mouth!

Always so serious!

*Almost* crawling...

Being in the swing is now NBD.

If you look really hard at the slide you will see the girlies sliding down together <3
