38 Weeks and Counting

As I sit and wait (and wait and wait and wait!) for baby #3 to arrive, I've been finding myself having trouble focusing on what is going on *right now*.  38 weeks pregnant, I'm finding, is a hard place for me to be.  It's not that I've not been here before ~ Maya was almost a week past her "due" date and Charlotte was born 1 or 2 days before hers, so I should not expect anything different this time around.  But, for some reason, I'm having a lot of trouble being patient!

A friend of mine wrote an amazing blog post about this, which you can read here.  Her adorable baby girl arrived a little over 3 weeks later.

I know that God knows when this baby will arrive, and I know that there is nothing I can do about making it happen any sooner (at least nothing that I'm interested in doing!) so I sit.  And I wait.

And I take pictures :)

This is an outline of Maya's foot, including her toenails, which are painted (obviously :))

Love the composition on the last picture! I think I need to find some good sidewalk chalk for Natasha... :)

Hey! How about a blog post while you're waiting?! ;)
