I'm Pretty Sure This Is Why...

...Oxy-Clean exists!!!  We are quickly finding that our yard doesn't drain as fast as we'd like, and after a month of pretty much nothing but rain, the girlies made fast work of turning a slight depression in the yard into a giant mud puddle ~ oops!

And here is just a sampling of pictures from the park :)  We met up with Sierra, Isabella and Isaac on Friday afternoon for some fun in the sun!

So I know that it's torture having a teething child, but oh my goodness I LOVE his two bottom teeth!  Also, his chipmunk cheeks beg to be squeezed :)

"Raindrops keep falling on my head..."

Needs no words, right? :)

More to come, but today is busy busy with baking, cleaning, packing for Canada, napping, playing with the kids, etc. so I'll sign off for now! :)

Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend, and to all my NE Ohio readers, I hope you are enjoying this amazing sunshine!

Just Overheard...

Charlotte: Mommy is pincess! (translation: Mommy is a princess)
Maya: No she's not!
Charlotte: Yes, she pincess!
Maya: No she's not!

10 points go to Charlotte in the "favorite child" contest ;)

Random pictures of Isaac (taken with my arms extended, so forgive the off focus in some of them :))

Quick Maya Post

I don't have a whole long post with a lot of pictures today, but wanted to share two Maya tidbits before I forget them forever :)

Tidbit #1

With the upcoming arrival of Baby #3, Maya has been very interested in birth.  We have talked a lot about how she was born in a hospital even though Charlotte was born at home and the new baby will be born at home ~ that no she wasn't sick and mommy wasn't sick, just that most people have babies in hospitals (just not cool people like Michael and I ;)).  The other day:

Maya: Mommy, was I born in a hospital or on a farm?
Me: Um, a farm?  No, you were born in a hospital.
Maya: Because I was very sick?
Me: No, you weren't sick, you were just born there and then we got to bring you home.
Maya: Well, when I was born I was just very sick and very sad and VERY tiny.  I cried all the time.  ALL the time.  And I was very small and VERY cute.  And I wore a beee-you-tiful dress.

Silly girl :)

Tidbit #2

This is Maya and Isabella doing the "you are my best friend forever" dance :)

Happy Tuesday :)
