Swings N Things

This week has been full of so much fun!  The heat broke a bit on Wednesday and we have so been enjoying being outside, opening our windows (last night we even closed them because it was too chilly!) and generally being both energized and wiped out by all the sunshine!  When they aren't in the water table, the girls spend their time at the swingset.  Maya has been telling us for over a week that "Isabella learned how to stand on the swing AND she doesn't even fall!!!"  Maya has been totally jealous but a bit apprehensive to try herself.  Well today, she gathered all her courage (and took my advice to try it barefoot instead of with tights on), and stood her little self right on up there!  Then for about a half an hour she continued to climb down, stand back up, and say, "Mommy!  I'm standing on the swing!  Take a picture!  I'm so proud of myself!" lol :)  She also told me that she will have to thank Isabella for teaching her how to do it :)

Little bit would also *love* to stand on the swing, but alas, she is resigned to swinging on her belly until she gets bigger.

Unrelated, but Maya has a blog post coming, and I'm so excited :)  She actually created little displays to take pictures of, which was hilarious.  She is becoming much more intentional in her photography...maybe one day she can apprentice with Sierra Hampl ;)

Also, it's Friday, Friday, gotta get down on Friday, everybody's looking forward to the weekend.

My mom is taking the girls for the night for an impromptu sleepover!  I'm excited and nervous ~ we did one night away a couple months ago, and my mom stayed with the girlies at our house, but this will be the first time that they stay somewhere else.  Eek!  I am positive that they will have fun.  They will be fine.  They will be fine.  They will be fine.  Breathe...

And of course, pictures!
