Maya's Christmas Program

Maya's preschool had a holiday program yesterday, and as you can imagine, I was 10x more excited than she was!  And folks, let me tell you, they did not disappoint!  Maya sang and danced and motioned her little heart out, and she even smiled a bit (I know!).  The whole thing was adorable.  They started with the Christmas Story, where Maya played an angel (pictures 1 and 2) then moved on to songs.  After they were finished singing, the pastor of the church where she goes to preschool came in and talked to the kids about Christmas (which was both awesome and unexpected, as we somehow didn't realize that she was going to a Christian preschool! :)).  He even invited up all the siblings and friends that had come to see the program, so Isabella joined Maya on "stage".  By the end of it all, my cheeks hurt from smiling so much :)  Michael took some video which I'll post after I upload it (it will be a BIG file so I have to figure out that one!).

After the show, we hung out at our house for a bit with Sierra, Isaac, Isabella and Penny.  The girlies tried to do a santa craft that was an epic fail, but they were just as happy to play with Silly Bands instead :)  Later in the evening, Penny and the girls had a pajama party while Michael and I went on an unexpected date (yay!  Thanks Penny!) and did some Christmas shopping for the girls.  It was a very very fun day, and I am so excited that it is the Christmas season!

Now for some pictures!

Isaac being his adorable self :)
