The One With The Long Day

No pictures today ~ sorry!  Isaac had his surgery starting at 7:30 this morning, and after waiting and waiting and waiting, Sierra and Walter finally got to see him around 7:00 tonight.  To say it was a long day for them is quite the understatement.  The surgery went well, just a bit longer and more complicated than expected.  I'll let Sierra share what she'd like to share on her own blog, but I do want to say THANK YOU to everyone who was praying for them today.  I know that all the prayers were appreciated, and they could certainly use more as Isaac begins the recovery process.  Sierra and Walter were superstars today.  I cannot even begin to imagine what it would be like to have my child go through such a major procedure, and they held it together and relied on each other and on God to make it through the day.
